@elsariguella Replacing just the cotton pad is a very bad idea. You will do a lot of work and time, and your printer will still have defects on the prints. It does not make sense. You have to replace the whole oil pad with a new one, you have to apply new oil. Usually oil are supplied with the Oil Pad, but only from good suppliers. The first time it was due to damp paper. Take a new factory-sealed pack of paper and put new paper into the machine. At the same time, check if you also have this problem on A3 paper format. @@MrRicoh Thanks for the reply. The first thing I did try was swapping the paper out. I will try this again though just to be sure. I should have said we have a few of these same Ricohs. Took the fusing unit out of a known good one and put it in the problem Ricoh but that did not make any difference. By exit unit do you mean fusing exit guide? The sc195 code indicates that the serial number of the machine is different on the NVRAM than the machine.
